This is the time of year we make a last-minute run for school supplies, then realize we forgot to buy groceries for packing lunches. We discover the kids' clothes are too small and the batteries in all the alarm clocks are dead. And no one seems to have remembered to do their summer reading or their first batch of homework. If you're looking for a quick dinner on a hectic back-to-school night, Popeyes is here to alleviate your Sunday scaries with a free chicken sandwich. For four Sundays starting August 18 and ending September 8, Popeyes will provide a free chicken sandwich with every order that exceeds $10. The offer applies to orders made with the Popeyes app or online. Popeyes' crispy, batter-fried chicken sandwiches are served on a brioche bun and topped with mayo and pickles. The fried chicken chain offers a version with spicy mayonnaise as well. Popeyes also has two new desserts on its Sunday Scaries menu if you prefer your comfort food in the form of sweets. The Miami-based restaurant recently introduced Caramel Apple Cheesecake Cups—"a rich cheesecake swirled with a sweet and tangy caramel apple filling over a decadent graham cracker crust." Popeyes also added Chocolate Chip Biscuits, which are buttery biscuits "filled with rich chocolate chips and topped with a drizzle." Nothing wrong with a little chocolate therapy on a stressful Sunday night. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
