Scottie Scheffler's Son Bennett Had The Best View At Memphis Golf Tournament

We couldn’t love this more.

Cute moments aren’t always the first things that come to mind when you think about professional golf, but Scottie Scheffler seems to be changing that.

Fresh off the Olympic gold medal win that had us all weeping alongside him, Scheffler was back on the PGA tour last week, competing alongside his longtime friend Sam Burns in the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

But athleticism wasn’t the only thing on display in Memphis. When the second round began and Burns found himself outside of the top 10 Friday, the Louisiana native happily took on babysitting duties for Scheffler, who welcomed his first child in May

Cameras caught Burns watching from the sidelines with adorable three-month-old Bennett. At one point he even held the baby—wearing only a diaper—in the air in order to get the best vantage point.

“Uncle Sam making sure Bennett gets a great view of dad,” PGA Tour captioned a photo of the moment on Instagram.

It’s a sweet glimpse into the world's No. 1 ranked golfer’s personal life.

Before Bennett was born on May 8, Scheffler made it clear that fatherhood would become his primary focus.

“I will definitely enjoy the birth of my first child,” he told USA Today. “But with that being said, I still love competing. My priorities will change here very soon. My son or daughter will now be the main priority, along with my wife, so golf will now be probably fourth in line. … But I still love competing. I don’t plan on taking my eye off the ball anytime soon, that’s for sure.”
