A recent Florida high school graduate is celebrating more than just receiving her diploma.

Orange Park’s Rikki Blaylock was honored at a school board meeting for having perfect attendance from kindergarten through her senior year.

In 13 years, Blaylock never missed a day of class.

In case you were wondering about the math on that, an average school year in Florida is 180 days, so that means she showed up 2340 consecutive school days.

Blaylock, who recently graduated from Ridgeview High School, was recognized at a recent Clay County School Board meeting.  Superintendent David Broskie presented her with a certificate for “Outstanding Attendance.”

Blaylock’s honor was shared on the school’s social media as well as the Ridgeview Panthers Athletics social media page.

“Congratulations to our student athlete, Rikki Blayclock, for being awarded perfect attendance from K-12 at last night’s school board meeting! Your dedication and commitment are truly inspiring.”

In addition to always showing up to class, Blaylock was a member of the school’s track team.  She was named Ridgeview High School’s Athlete of the Week in April and was named Clay County All County in Javelin. She holds the school record in Javelin.

According to the Facebook post, Blaylock “also supports our athletic programs by taking photos at different sporting events.”

Blaylock was also a member of the Lady Panther Soccer Team.

Congratulations Rikki!
