The American cheese icon's new flavors—Jalapeño, Garlic & Herb, and Caramelized Onion—are the first to be released in almost a decade, according to an email from Kraft. We last saw new flavors of the shrink-wrapped slices in 2017, when Pepper Jack and Sharp Cheddar Singles were introduced. The company is offering a few tantalizing suggestions on how to use the newest flavors, any of which sound amazing on a hamburger, if we're being honest. How about Jalapeño on a steak sandwich with onions and peppers? You could also try Caramelized Onion on our delicious Ham Delights. The creamy white slices could also make it onto dinner menus when we're looking for a quick weeknight meal. For instance, the company suggests using Garlic & Herb Singles for some extra zing on a chicken parmesan. (We're guessing it also would be good on a cheesy garlic bread for your next Italian night.) Kraft says it is the top-selling sandwich cheese brand, with 1 in 4 American households stocking Kraft Singles in their refrigerators. The creamy processed cheese is prized for melting easily and making a supremely ooey-gooey grilled cheese. Shoppers also like buying Singles for the easy, individually wrapped packaging. Kraft says that Jalapeño, Garlic & Herb, and Caramelized Onion will be available this month in 16-slice packages at retailers nationwide. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why!
