Every variation is welcome at the potluck. And though the perfect macaroni and cheese varies based on who’s holding the spoon, we can all agree that this classic Southern comfort food should be creamy, rich, and velvety. For some, the answer is always Kraft. Voted America’s favorite, the 85-year-old boxed macaroni and cheese has co-hosted generations of family dinners. Now, they’re hoping to invite younger fans into the mix. After fielding over 40 new concepts and 27 unique flavors gathered through their “Fan Flavorites” program, the Kraft Mac & Cheese research team decided on two brand-new variations—overwhelmingly recommended by fans—to infuse their classic recipe with pizzazz: Kraft Mac & Cheese Ranch: Combines the iconic taste of America’s favorite mac with the creamy tang of one of the country’s most popular dressings Kraft Mac & Cheese Jalapeño: Combines the creamy, cheesy classic with a hit of spice for a new, yet familiar, flavor offering The flavors, which were encouraged by “thousands,” Kraft said in a release, are inspired by common “mac hacks” the company regularly sees, including the addition of ranch dressing and heat, respectively, to the iconic blue box mix. The company hopes that these new flavor twists will entice fans with "all-in-one delicious flavor and efficiency." Kraft Mac & Cheese Ranch and Kraft Mac & Cheese Jalapeño are now arriving on shelves nationwide, starting at $1.99, for those brave enough to forgo the glory of Kraft Mac & Cheese Original. We won’t fault you if you’ve already sworn your allegiance to Betty Jo’s recipe, though. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
