The actress and her mama Pat traveled from Charlestown, West Virginia, to New York City to bring their fan-favorite social media cooking show to the masses. The adorable mother-daughter duo appeared on Today Monday morning where they demonstrated Pat’s go-to recipe for blackberry cobbler. “I take it to every potluck because it's easy and everyone loves it,” the 86 year old explained. Affectionately named Barbara’s Blackberry Cobbler after a late neighbor, the recipe is as simple as it is delicious. With help from co-host Carson Daly, the Garner girls constructed the family favorite using just a handful of ingredients and a healthy dose of banter. “Yes ma’am, yes ma’am!” Jennifer told her mom after questioning one of the steps and getting an old-school reprimand. With a little television magic, the cobbler was done and the hosts were able to dig in. The reviews were rave. But Pat never doubted it. “I take it to every potluck because it's so easy and it's always eaten. I never have to take any home with me,” Pat noted with a smile. “I recently had a potluck on my back deck and I looked over and people were getting their cobbler first.” Jennifer, 52, beamed as the segment ended with the sound of applause from Daly, Hoda Kotb, Al Roker, and Craig Melvin.
