The Tennessee-based chain of discount stores has partnered with Dolly Parton on a charming and affordable kitchen and housewares collection that is guaranteed to have you clearing space in your cupboards. “Whether ‘Workin’ 9 to 5’ or struck with a case of the ‘Tennessee Homesick Blues,’ the wide array of home decor, kitchen, and tableware items will add a spark of Dolly’s style to any home,” a news release boasts. Dollar General According to Dollar General, the collection was inspired by Parton’s rural upbringing in the Smoky Mountains. Depicting “key moments” from her early life, the assortment of wooden spoons, biscuit cutters, tea towels, and more is a nod to Parton’s legacy. “Our shared humble beginnings make this a special program for Dollar General. We are thrilled to bring this exclusive collection, curated by one of the most iconic stars in country music, to DG customers,” Emily Taylor, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Dollar General, said in a statement. Dollar General Dolly's Kitchen and Housewares Collection is available now for a limited time at all of Dollar General’s approximately 20,000 locations.
