Dolly Parton Just Announced Her Debut Cosmetics Line

Dolly Parton once said, "People say, 'how you stay looking so young?' I say, well, good lighting, good doctors, and good makeup." Now, she is giving folks a chance to try some good makeup of their own. Specifically, her brand-new line of cosmetics.

The country music icon subtly announced that her debut makeup collection is on its way, according to a post on social media from the star. To break the exciting news, Parton shared a new portrait where she is seated before the bright lights of a vanity and holding up a red lipstick. While it looks like it could be a scene from her upcoming Broadway musical, she tagged Dolly Beauty, her new makeup line.

"I feel glamorous on the inside, so I want to look like it on the outside… something is coming @dollybeauty," Parton captioned the captivating image.

While most of the details about the new line are being kept under wraps for now, Parton did give a few little hints about the new makeup line in an interview with WWD .

“I’ve always said I never leave a rhinestone unturned,” she said referring to the launch of Dolly Beauty. “I’ve wanted to be pretty my whole life like most girls, especially country girls that have a dream of glamour. I started creating my own little makeup things at home when I was just a kid, and I’ve been known for wearing makeup—usually too much—for years.”

The first product in Parton’s new line will reportedly be the Heaven’s Kiss lipstick collection, which comes in four flattering shades and rhinestone-covered packaging that any true Dolly fan will appreciate. While Parton has dabbled in scents and perfumes for a while now, with her Dolly collaboration with Scent Beauty, this is her first push into the world of cosmetics and based on the comments on Instagram, fans are very excited.
