After employees at the Boone County Sheriff's Office welcomed more than a dozen kids last year, people are wondering if it’s simply a sweet coincidence, or if there’s something greater at work in the Cincinnati suburb. Perhaps there’s even something in the water, many have joked. “We’re growing in more than one way,” the sheriff's office wrote on Facebook alongside a now-viral photo of 15 staffers posing with their babies dressed in matching white onesies. According to WXIX, there are a handful of new additions not pictured. The total number of new Boone County Sheriff’s Office babies is actually around 20. "We knew that a lot of our deputies were having children. But man, when you look at that picture, it really puts it into some perspective," public information officer Major Philip Ridgell told Good Morning America. "Our agency is made up of men and women who have deep ties to the community," Ridgell added. "Oftentimes, many of them were born and raised here and we're more committed and more now than one way, to this county and ensuring its safety." Among the Boone County Sheriff’s Office employees who welcomed a new child are brothers Brennen and Blake Dills. “We now have all of these young deputies that are raising kids around the same age, so we can bounce ideas, tips, tricks off of each other,” Blake told WXIX.
