Meg Schaltegger, Partnerships Writer: While I’ve attended my fair share of spring and summer weddings, every time a new invite arrives in my mailbox, I’m lost as to what to wear. Luckily, I’ve secured the ideal dress that can just as easily be dressed down for a Sunday brunch or worn with heels for my friend’s upcoming wedding. The classic A-line silhouette is so flattering, while the smocked top offers a comfortable and flexible fit. The breathable cotton fabric feels light and airy even on a hot summer day, and the oversized bows on the straps add the perfect amount of intrigue.

It’s lightweight, comfortable, and flattering thanks to its cotton cambric fabric and flutter sleeves. The smocked top accentuates my waist, while the flowy A-line skirt is perfect for dancing and keeping cool. I’m absolutely obsessed with the color and pattern, as it has an Italy-inspired design that’s unlike anything else in my closet. At 5 feet tall, I have to wear heels with the dress, so I’m considering getting it hemmed to style it with sneakers and sandals this summer.

This one hit just above my ankles and provided a flattering fit thanks to its smocked top and breezy skirt. It’s not lined, which makes it very breathable for the hot summer months. I love the adjustable straps that also provide a playful bow detail once they’re tied. The dress feels fitted yet flexible which makes it super comfortable. Plus, I can wear it with heels or slip-on sandals when I want a casual yet put-together look.

Bridget Degnan, Partnerships Editor: Now that I know how beautiful and breathable the dresses in the Dolce Vita collection are, I’m eyeing a few more to add to my warm-weather wardrobe. Similar to the Rosie style I love, the Mia dress has a smocked bodice and tiered skirt, but the flowy sleeves are replaced with the self-tie straps that create a romantic bow detail on your shoulders.
