Barbara Pierce Bush Welcomes Second Child!

Congratulations are in order for Barbara Pierce Bush!

The former first daughter recently welcomed her second child, a son named Edward Finn, with husband Craig Coyne.

Barbara’s twin and Today co-host Jenna Bush Hager announced the happy news on Instagram Monday.

“My sissy had a little mister and I fell madly in love with Edward Finn!” Jenna wrote alongside a series of photos taken at the New York City hospital where Edward was born.   

Coyne and Barbara previously welcomed their first child, daughter Cora Georgia, in September 2021. 

Jenna and Barbara, who now have five kids between them, released their third children’s book, Love Comes First, in November 2023. In a video posted on Amazon, Barbara explained that the book was inspired by the joys and difficulties of expanding a family. 

"When both of our families grew, we wanted to write about how there's always room for more love," she said. "We were once again motivated by the idea that we're stronger together and the more that we have people in our lives that have our back, the braver we can be."
